Virtual Styling #80: Tickled Pink for Fall

In Virtual Styling #80, Barbara & Karen continue the conversation about color – especially the transition from the bright, lively colors of Summer into the traditionally dark, more subdued colors of Fall.

Not this year!! It’s been a challenging year with everything a bit upside down, so the trend that has taken us most by surprise is the continuation of bold color. Color reigns supreme for Fall 2021!! It seems color has taken up residence in all our closets and is not leaving anytime soon! Whether it’s a graphic print, floral print, or textured solid, statement color abounds!

Tonight we thought we get you up to speed on the pink story. As we mentioned last week, Fuchsia Fedora and Pale Rosette are the Pantone colors this season - so we go from pale pink all the way to a supersaturated hot pink. We love pink as an accent color, especially when it’s unexpected!

You’ll also see touches of Fire Whirl (which is a vibrant red), and Adobe ( a terra cotta, spice color). Those 2 mixed together give us a wonderful brick red that’s pretty fabulous. We've styled it all up tonight in color with plenty to tickle you pink (or red! or any shade of either!). Enjoy!
