Virtual Styling #275: Cool Cotton Sweaters

Barbara & Karen tackle dressing for the dreaded in-between season where it's chilly in the morning and evening, but hot in the afternoon in Virtual Styling #275. What to wear??? And what can be worn now but also move into next season??

The perfect solution? A fabulous cotton sweater!! They’re lightweight enough for daytime but still cozy when it cools down. And our favorite cotton sweaters from Zaket & Plover have just arrived. Wear now over a tank or by themselves – the cotton is so wonderful and soft…and the colors and designs are so unusual. Wear them later over your favorite blouse or turtleneck.

Cotton sweaters are so breathable compared to wool, and are so under-rated for early Fall. Everyone jumps right to chunky knits. We are definitely not there yet!! (of course, we know they’re coming!) Give us a few more weeks and we'll be all about the cable knits and cardigans. But for now? Cotton all the way!
