Virtual Styling #132: The Circle of Fashion

Barbara & Karen take circles to a whole new level in Virtual Styling #132. The circle has long been a symbol of evolution, eternity, connection, wholeness and unity. It is probably the most abundant shape in the universe. Everywhere you look, you are likely to see a circle in one form or another. With no beginning and no ending, circles are incredibly grounding and can have a truly positive impact on your mood. So we’ve decided to dedicate this Virtual Styling to the wonderful, fabulous circle.

In almost every collection we’ve bought for BK&CO this Fall, there is a circle lurking in fabric or design. We’ve curated a collection of our favorite round friend from Planet, Kozan, Chalet, Frank Lyman, Zaket & Plover and LIV. We have even added in accessories that follow the lead and cleverly use the circle to punctuate and elevate an outfit. Whether it’s a simple stand out circle, or a round and repeat all over pattern, we are loving the unified symbolism of the age old circle!

Circles can be combined with geometric shapes that are linear, especially stripes. It’s fun to mix shapes for an overall artistic look or layer your circles with monochromatic solids for a more polished, sophisticated style.

So many gorgeous jackets, sweaters, blouses & tunics to layer, your head will likely spin…in a circle!!
