Posted on July 20 2022

PART ONE:
Barbara & Karen ( and everyone on the street!) lost their internet mid show! Here is what you missed in the second half of Virtual Styling #124.
PART TWO:

Barbara & Karen show emerging color trends for Falll 2022 in Virtual Styling #124. Early runway shows dictate the color story for Fall and this season it’s about rich, saturated color. Pantone colors include: Martini Olive, Caramel Café, Autumn Blonde, Orange Tiger, and Samoan Sun. In other words: Olive, brown, cream, rust and gold. Also trending is anything purple -especially lilac – emerald, and burgundy. These are the more fashion forward colors and will show up in accent pieces: especially sweaters and accessories.

Liverpool has just delivered two exciting new collections featuring all the above mentioned natural colors. Lots of mustard gold and harvest pumpkin are combined with black, denim and khaki for a surprising twist on more classic colorations. Chalet also has included plenty of Dijon and a patchwork print with all the trending warm tones.

New denim silhouettes for Fall include seamed, flared jeans, distressed carpenter pants – hello 1970!!- and a fun, frayed Stella hi-lo flare. Blazers continue to be important and speaking of continuing…blouses are rolling in…and running out, especially crisp white blouses and printed button shirts. There’s a great new longer length Liverpool jean coat and a must-have patchwork duster from Chalet.
